AP Portfolio Requirements
Syllabus & AP Contract Students must have a working cumulative portfolio with access to syllabus and an AP English Literature and Composition Calendar. It may be assessed any class meeting. Potpourri Students are responsible for documenting 20 essential literary vernacular from the materiol you read this year. Students will be tested on the words until they receive a perfect score on the lit terms exam. Click here for the potpourri format and example. Examples may only come from in-class texts. Poetry Analyses A TPCASTT and one page teacher guided-reflection is due for every poem every other Friday. Students are responsible for having thorough analysis notes for each poem. An exam style quiz will be given over selected poems. We will thoroughly discuss and write on each poem. Students may access poetry packet here. Essay- Big Questions Essay Essay- Critical Perspective AP Exam Review Students are required to analyze AP free response prompts for key concepts. Students must create introductory paragraphs and working outlines for one question each month that emphasizes key concepts. Completed AP Exam- wrong answers analyzed with key terms highlighted. University/ Secondary Education Progress Students must write 2 college entrance essays. (DUE October 1, 2010) Students must include revisions (See Farson Essay Revision Sheet) of each essay. Document scholarship and university correspondence.
